Australian small businesses owners have been given a tax break in the latest federal budget which will allow them to deduct $120 for every $100 they spend on things such as web design and cloud hosting.
The government is allowing businesses to spend up to $100,000 a year to be eligible for the bonus deduction on purchases made between now and June 30, 2023.
“From tonight, every hundred dollars these small businesses spend on digital technologies like cloud computing, eInvoicing, cybersecurity and web design will see them get a $120 tax deduction.”

These measures by the government are certainly helpful to struggling small businesses who either don’t have an online presence or want to improve their exisiting website.
